Terms & Conditions

An Invitation to Magic

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made with An Invitation to Magic.

1. About Us

An Invitation to Magic is a trading name of Artificially Clear Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17119201, whose registered office is:

16 Overhill Lane
Wilmslow
SK9 2BG

2. Quotes and Booking

Following an enquiry, An Invitation to Magic will provide a written quote by email setting out the agreed details of the performance, including the date, location, approximate performance time and price.

A reply from the person making the booking confirming acceptance of the quote will constitute acceptance of the booking and these Terms & Conditions and will form a contractual agreement between the booker and Artificially Clear Ltd, trading as An Invitation to Magic.

3. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment should be made by bank transfer to Artificially Clear Ltd. Bank details will be provided separately by email.

A booking is confirmed once the booking has been accepted and full payment has been received.

4. Cancellation by the Booker

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify An Invitation to Magic by email as soon as possible.

For cancellations made 30 or more calendar days before the performance date, all monies paid will be refunded in full.

For cancellations made within 29 calendar days of the performance date, the booking fee is normally non-refundable. This reflects the fact that the performance date and time have been reserved exclusively for the booking and that it may not be possible to secure an alternative booking at short notice.

Where An Invitation to Magic is able to secure an equivalent replacement booking for the cancelled date and time, we will take this into account when determining any amount retained. We will not retain more than is reasonably required to cover losses arising from the cancellation.

5. Changes to a Booking

If you wish to change the date, time, location or other significant details of a confirmed booking, please contact An Invitation to Magic as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes, but changes cannot be guaranteed and may result in a revised price.

6. Cancellation by An Invitation to Magic

In the exceptional event that the magician is unable to perform because of illness or another circumstance beyond reasonable control, An Invitation to Magic will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and refund all monies paid for the performance.

An Invitation to Magic and Artificially Clear Ltd will not be responsible for losses which were not reasonably foreseeable or which were not caused by a breach on our part.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. The Performance

The booker is responsible for providing a suitable and safe space in which the performance can take place and for ensuring reasonable access to the performance area for setting up and removing equipment.

An Invitation to Magic may make reasonable adjustments to individual elements of the performance where necessary, provided that the overall nature and standard of the performance are not materially affected.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
